Location: Nairobi Employment Type: Full-Time Reports To: Portfolio Recovery Manager We are looking for a Portfolio Recovery Executive to join our team. The role involves monitoring client loan accounts, following up on repayments, and ensuring timely debt recovery. You will work closely with the Operations team and Management to maintain a healthy loan portfolio. Key Responsibilities • Monitor customer loan accounts and identify overdue payments • Follow up with clients through calls, messages, and field visits to ensure repayment • Recover outstanding debts from borrowers • Assess risk levels and recommend recovery actions • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly portfolio reports • Track loan performance and provide insights for decision-making • Work closely with the credit and operations team to reconcile payments • Negotiate repayment plans with clients where necessary • Maintain accurate records of all recovery activities Qualifications and Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or any related business field. • Experience in debt collection, credit control or loan recovery is an added advantage • Strong communication and negotiation skills • Good analytical and reporting skills • Ability to work in the field and handle clients professionally Key competencies • Problem-solving and decision-making • Attention to detail • Ability to meet targets and deadlines • Integrity and professionalism
