Darandi is reshaping how fertilizers are produced, distributed, and applied across Kenya and the region. Role Overview Darandi is recruiting Sales Agronomists to support the national rollout of its biological fertilizer platform in Kenya. This is a field-based technical-commercial role combining agronomic advisory, demonstration execution, and direct sales responsibility. Key Responsibilities Sales & Market Development Drive bio-fertilizer sales through distributors, agrodealers, and direct farmerengagement within assigned territoriesSupport distributors with demand creation, seasonal planning, and sell-through executionIdentify new commercial opportunities among commercial and emerging farmers Field Demonstrations & Farmer Engagement Establish, monitor, and document demonstration plots and field trials in priority countiesConduct side-by-side performance comparisons to demonstrate agronomic and economic valueSupport field days, roadshows, and farmer outreach activities to build product adoption Dealer Training & Technical Support Train agrodealers and distributor staff on product positioning, correct application, and farmer messagingProvide practical agronomic guidance to farmers on dosage, timing, and integration into cropping systemsTroubleshoot field issues and escalate technical cases when needed Reporting & Market Intelligence Collect field performance data, farmer feedback, and competitor intelligenceMaintain structured records of demonstrations, sales activities, and farmer engagementProvide regular territory updates aligned with agreed KPIs Requirements Degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, Crop Science or related field4–5+ years’ experience in fertilizers or agricultural inputsExperience working with distributors and farmers in KenyaStrong field engagement and training capabilityWillingness to travel extensivelyOnly candidates with demonstrated bio-fertilizer / crop nutrition field experience will be considered.
