It has a network of more than 58,000 employees in more than 100 countries.As of 2017, IQVIA was reported to be one of the world's largest contract research organizations Key Responsibilities Sales & Promotion Promote and sell a portfolio of leading consumer health and OTC products, consistently meeting sales targets and performance objectives. Drive expert recommendation through effective detailing and execution of the “6 Steps of a Call” model. Relationship Management Build and nurture strong, long‑standing relationships within the pharmacy channel to maximise business opportunities and strengthen brand presence. Market Intelligence Conduct market assessments to identify opportunities, track competitor activities, and recommend strategies aligned to business objectives. Product Knowledge & Training Maintain a deep understanding of product indications, benefits, contraindications, and clinical data. Conduct in‑store training and Lunch & Learn sessions (minimum six per month) to enhance product understanding and advocacy. In‑Store Execution & Merchandising Coordinate and guide 3rd‑party merchandising teams to ensure excellent execution, visibility, and availability. Negotiate for optimal share of shelf (SoS) and forward share, aligned to market share expectations. Reporting & Compliance Submit accurate and timely reports on sales activity, market insights, and customer feedback. Ensure complete compliance with CRM and digital reporting tools (e.g., FSFA, Veeva) and adhere to all regulatory, ethical, and internal policy guidelines. Qualifications & Experience Education Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Medical, Paramedical, or FMCG-related fields. Experience 1–3 years’ experience in pharmaceutical, OTC, or FMCG sales with a solid understanding of pharmacy operations. Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets within field‑based roles. Skills & Competencies Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to build rapport, influence pharmacy stakeholders, and deliver compelling product messages. Highly self‑motivated with strong planning and organisational abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems. Additional Requirements Willingness and ability to travel frequently within the Mount Kenya region. Willingness to work under a third‑party employment contract.
