Kenya Commercial Bank Limited is registered as a non-operating holding company which started operations as a licensed banking institution with effect from January 1, 2016. The holding company oversees KCB Kenya - incorporated with effect from January 1, 2016 - and all KCB's regional units in Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, Ethiopia and South Sudan. It also owns KCB Insurance Agency, KCB Capital, KCB Foundation and all associate companies. The holding company was set up to among other things to enhance the Group's capacity to access unrestricted capital and also enable investment in new ventures outside banking regulations, achieve operational and strategic autonomy for the Group's operating entities and enhance corporate governance across the Group and oversight in management of subsidiaries.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:  Support in developing individual business segments profit & loss accounts and the annual budgeting process including the consolidation of various branches, sectors, and channels.    Prepare and report monthly business performance and financial forecasts.  Provide effective insights and analysis to assist the assigned Business portfolio in meeting the established financial and profit objectives.   Provide analytical support and analysis to the finance business partner.  Analyze sales, financial, costing, and operational data and extract and define relevant information.  Analysis of Products life cycle – create new products growth opportunities and evaluate existing products to advise business on plateauing and declining products for remediation.  Interpret data for the purpose of determining the root causes of past figures, financial, costing, and operational performance.   Maintain Key Performance Indicators & dashboard and run a central database for reporting.  Generate standard, custom and or complex reports summarizing business, financial, or economic data for review and consumption by users, business managers and other relevant stakeholders.  Analyze and or collate business/trend data to support recommendations for action, building of business cases and post implementation reviews of assigned business portfolio initiatives/projects.   Provide timely business intelligence/analysis reports to users, business managers and other relevant stakeholders. Maintain and or circulate business information securely with due regard for confidentiality. MINIMUM POSITION REQUIREMENTS The preferred candidate will meet the following minimum criteria: Bachelor of Commerce (Finance or Accounting Option) or other related business Degree, Bachelor of Arts (Economics), BSC (Mathematics, Actuarial Science or Engineering). Professional qualifications: CPA 2 or ACCA Professional qualifications in financial analysis is an added advantage. At least 3 year's relevant experience in financial &/or business performance analysis and reporting. This should include specific experience in the following: SQL scripting Use of data analysis tools e.g. EDWH, SAP BI, Power BI, etc. Cross-functional stakeholder management
