Teenagers Center for Awakening is a Refugee- Led Community- Based Organization(CBO) operating in Kakuma Refugee Camp and Turkana West, Kenya. We are committed to serving teenagers aged 12-19 by addressing their unique needs and fostering their holistic development through various programs and initiatives.

About Teenagers Center For Awakening (TCA) CBO

TCA supports teenagers in Kakuma, Kenya through holistic support, vocational training, fostering sustainable livelihhods and community impact . We are a registered Community Based Organization verified on both Benevity and YourCause with Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) fully enabled.

The problem We are verified but invisible. No corporate donor has found us through either platform despite being eligible to receive funds.

The opportunity Billions of dollars flow through workplace giving platforms annually. We need someone to open the door.

The role

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Partnership Coordinator to build relationships with companies that use Benevity and YourCause. You will not research companies (our Workplace Giving Data Analyst handles that). Instead, you will take the target list and turn it into funded partnerships.

Key responsibilities

Review the target company database provided by our Data Analyst and prioritize outreach Draft tailored one-pagers, emails, and proposals for each target company Identify and contact CSR administrators, HR benefits teams, and Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) Pitch TCA for inclusion in corporate giving campaigns, ERG spotlights, and matching gift programs Schedule and lead follow-up calls or virtual meetings with corporate contacts Track all outreach, responses, and next steps in a shared pipeline Report weekly to TCA leadership on progress and outcomes

What you bring

Required

Experience in corporate partnerships, CSR, business development, or nonprofit fundraising Excellent written communication and proposal drafting skills Comfort with virtual outreach (email, LinkedIn, video calls) Self-directed and able to work remotely with minimal supervision

Strongly Preferred

Familiarity with Benevity and/or YourCause platforms Existing network of CSR contacts Understanding of Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and how they influence giving

What you will achieve

By the end of your 3-month volunteer term, you will have

Contacted 40-50 target companies with tailored proposals Secured at least 6-10 companies featuring TCA in a giving campaign or ERG spotlight Generated the first corporate donations through Benevity or YourCause
