Role Summary

This is a high-impact opportunity focusing on complex, high-value transactions across real estate and corporate finance. Based in Kenya, the Financial Analyst will work in a lean, fast-paced environment supporting investment decisions through advanced financial modeling, valuation, and deal execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain advanced financial models, specifically for single-asset real estate investments.
• Analyze asset performance, including cash flows, P&L statements, and debt service coverage ratios.
• Structure complex capital stacks involving senior debt, mezzanine financing, preferred equity, and waterfall distributions.
• Support various transactions such as acquisitions, refinancing, M&A, and corporate financing initiatives.
• Conduct sensitivity analyses and scenario modeling to evaluate risk and return profiles.
• Prepare internal investment memos, reports, and presentation materials for senior stakeholders.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, or transaction advisory.
• Strong expertise in financial modeling, valuation, and deal underwriting.
• Proven ability to model real estate transactions and understand complex capital structures.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and challenge assumptions.
• Availability to work during Central European Time (CET) business hours.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Nice to Have

• CFA (completed or in progress) or similar professional credentials.
• Experience in real estate transactions or working with high-net-worth clients.
