Role Summary

Join Reboot Monkey as a Data Center Technician in Nairobi, Kenya. This is a full-time, on-site role supporting critical infrastructure at world-class data center facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment.
• Perform structured cabling (copper and fiber optic).
• Execute hardware deployments and decommissions.
• Monitor environmental systems including power, cooling, and security.
• Respond to incidents and perform troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate documentation and asset tracking.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams on capacity planning and upgrades.

Requirements

• Previous experience in data center or IT infrastructure environments.
• Strong knowledge of server hardware and networking.
• Professional communication skills and reliability.
• Proximity to local data center facilities in Nairobi.
• Flexibility to participate in an on-call rotation and emergency work.
